Image Cropper

Drag a crop box directly on your image, or type an exact width, height and position — then crop and download, right in your browser.

About Image Cropper

Image Cropper cuts an exact rectangle out of a JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF or SVG file. Drag the crop box straight on top of your image — move it, or grab any of its 8 handles to resize — and the Width, Height, Position X and Position Y fields below update to match automatically. Prefer exact numbers? Type into any of those fields instead and the box on the image moves to match. A row of quick aspect-ratio presets (Free, Square, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, 9:16) snaps the box to a common ratio in one click, and you can change the output format and quality before downloading. Every crop happens locally in your browser — nothing is ever uploaded to a server.

FAQ

Will cropping reduce image quality?
Cropping itself only cuts pixels, it never resamples them, so the kept area stays exactly as sharp as the source. If you also change the output format to JPG or WebP, a quality slider lets you tune the size-vs-quality tradeoff.
How do I crop to an exact size?
Type the exact numbers into the Width, Height, Position X and Position Y fields — the crop box on the image moves to match immediately, so you can see exactly what will be kept before you click Crop.
What do the aspect ratio presets do?
Clicking a preset like Square or 16:9 instantly resizes the crop box to that ratio, centered on your image. Pick "Free" to resize the box to any shape.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Cropping runs entirely in your browser — your image never leaves your device.
Is there a file size limit?
Each file can be up to 25MB, to keep things reliable on mobile browsers.
