Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 24, 2026
Your files stay yours. This page explains, in plain language, what we do and don't collect.
The short version
NoInstall Tools is built to be privacy-first. Every tool runs entirely inside your browser — the files, text and images you process are handled on your own device and are never uploaded to our servers, stored, or seen by us. We simply have no copy of what you process.
What we don't collect
We don't require an account and don't ask for your name, email or any personal details to use a tool. We never receive or retain the content you open in a tool — a file you convert or an image you resize stays in your browser the whole time.
Local storage on your device
To remember a few preferences — your light or dark theme, your language, your recently used tools — we save small values in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can clear it anytime through your browser settings.
Cookies and advertising
We may show ads to help keep the tools free, served through partners such as Google AdSense and Yandex Reklama, who may use cookies to serve and measure ads based on your consent. You choose whether to allow this the first time you visit, and can change your mind anytime via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
Analytics
Where enabled, we use privacy-conscious analytics to see which tools are popular, in aggregate. This never includes anything you typed or uploaded into a tool, and isn't used to identify you personally.
Your rights
If data-protection law such as the GDPR applies to you, you can ask to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold, object to its use, or withdraw cookie consent at any time — most of this you can already do yourself via "Cookie settings." For anything else, contact us below.
Third-party links
Our site may link to other websites. We aren't responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
Children's privacy
NoInstall Tools is intended for a general audience and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any change will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date, and a meaningful change will also get a visible notice on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site afterward means you accept the update.
